Our Competitive Dance Division

Our Bloom Elite Competitive Dance Division is designed for dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level and experience the excitement of regional and national competitions. This program is ideal for dedicated students who want to expand their technical foundation, performance skills, and artistry through more focused, intensive training.

Bloom Elite Company dancers attend four competitions each season — two local competitions and two in the surrounding areas — and have the opportunity to work with top industry professionals both in-studio and at conventions.

Elite Company dancers receive additional studio time, advanced choreography, and specialized technique classes across multiple styles including jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, and acro. With training tailored to push their potential, dancers build the discipline, confidence, and versatility needed to thrive on and off the stage.

Elite Company is open to dancers ages 5 to 18 and is divided into three age divisions: Minis, Juniors, and Teens. If your dancer is ready for a challenge and wants to grow among the best, come audition for one of the area’s most cutting-edge, nationally award-winning teams. Audition dates and registration information is listed below.

Bloom Elite Competition Team

Auditions June 2-3, 2026

Auditions are open to dancers ages 5-18 who want to join our award-winning teams for the 2026–2027 season.

Two-day auditions will be held on June 2 and 3, 2026:

  • Dancers ages 5 to 11 will attend both days 5:00pm to 6:30pm

  • Dancers ages 12+ will attend both days 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Dancers will learn across-the-floor combinations and a choreographed routine that may include kicks, turns, leaps, splits, and more. They will have the opportunity to practice at home and return on Day 2 to perform for the studio owner and instructors. Results will be posted online on Friday, June 5th.

Cost for the two day auditions is $75/dancer.

Dancers selected for the Bloom Elite team must attend the following mandatory events:

  • Company Summer Workshop - June 22–26

    • (Cost: Minis & Juniors: $150 and Teens: $180) Workshop information and class schedules will be posted online with Company audition results. Payment is due on the first day of camp. Classes may begin as early as 4:00 p.m.

  • Mandatory July Classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays - July 7–30

    • Class fees are due on the first class on July 7th. Classes may begin as early as 4:00 p.m.

  • July Choreography Intensive with Rustin and NRG DanceProject faculty - July 24–26

    • This is a Mandatory Choreography session to learn the group routines for Contemporary, Production, and Jazz dances. Cost is estimated at $350/dancer due on June 26 (the last day of Company Summer Workshop). Additional Hip Hop choreography fee (estimated $250) will be announced once confirmed. Exact amounts and final schedule/details will be communicated as soon as they are available to allow families time to plan.

  • Fall Company Classes begin August 11th

    • Weekly Company classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the dance season

What makes a great Company dancer?

  • Strong technique and body control

  • Flexibility (splits, leaps, and kicks)

  • Stage presence and performance skills

  • Tumbling and acro abilities (not required, but a plus!)

  • Balance and turn execution

  • A positive attitude, dedication, and drive to grow
