What began as a dream in 2004 became a reality when Britt’s Dance Company opened its doors under the leadership of founder Brittney Dean Lee. With a mission to deliver a modern, cutting-edge dance experience, Britt quickly built BDC into the premiere dance studio in Rincon, Georgia. Over the past 21 years, BDC has become home to countless dancers and families, earning a reputation for both excellence and heart — most notably as the home of the nationally award-winning BDC Elite Company team.

In 2025, BDC began a new chapter under new ownership, carrying forward its beloved legacy with a fresh identity and renewed energy: BDC – Bloom Dance Company.

Bloom Dance Company is owned by Maci Robinson, a long-time staff member who has been part of the BDC family for over 17+ years. Maci served alongside Britt as the Director of Recreational Dance for more than a decade, helping shape hundreds of young dancers' journeys. Her deep-rooted connection to the studio ensures that while BDC evolves, the heart of what makes it special remains unchanged.

Today, BDC continues to be a place where dancers thrive and grow — from their first steps in tiny tights to taking center stage as confident, expressive performers.

BDC is entering a revitalized era, featuring:

  • Renovated studio spaces, including Marley flooring for enhanced training

  • A new website and parent portal for modern, simplified communication and payment experience

Our Facility:

Step into 2,800 square feet of purpose-built dance space, featuring two fully equipped studios—one of which spans 1,200 square feet, the size of a professional stage, and now upgraded with brand new competition-style Marley dance flooring.

Both studios include:

  • Full wall of mirrors

  • Beautiful oak hardwood floors (Studio 2)

  • Brand new Marley floors (Studio 1)

  • Immersive surround sound system

Parents can unwind in our spacious waiting room, featuring Effingham’s first closed-circuit TV system — streaming live from both studios so you can watch your dancer in real time.

On-site, we offer a convenient selection of dance wear and exclusive BDC gear for purchase, so your dancer is always performance-ready. Plus, our vending machine is stocked with snacks and drinks to keep both dancers and parents refreshed and energized.

With plenty of parking and a central location, you can drop off your dancer and check off your to-do list with ease.
